* Safflowers – eight selections – some with faces!

Eight selections of safflowers, Carthamus tinctorius. The seeds are pressed for safflower oil, and once was used to make red-orange dyes, and food flavorings. Garlands made from safflowers were found in the tomb of the pharaoh Tutankhamun!
